After 2 sets of validation letters were not fully responded to the CA, I sent my request to cancel Equifax. I have a warning today from the credit line amended myfico.com says: “Recovery in progress” .
I'm Shakin 'in my boots .
Has this “review” ever happened to someone after I validate?
I hope this means that Equifax is getting ready to delete this TRADELINE.

I have an account with Fast Point collections that are not yet reporting. It has been proposed to do several things. One was to DV them. I assume it has been proposed from this, to prevent me more time and that they believe the coverage for the period being.
I I received the letter from them in May. Would it still be worth my DVing them? And if it comes back as a validation of what should I do? I really want to prevent them from reporting. I work hard and slow, some progress with my credit

I am helping several friends with a credit card and I have a friend who has a claim SMC and is collected from OSI Collections. It is for $ 429.99. Zero collection fees. She asked for validation and they did it and send it's real. They have not on any of their reports. How it can ensure it's worth it if they do not list on their credit after the fact?

A friend of mine with a law background, said the only way to really dispute a debt in a validation letter, the phrases “military” use and “refuse to pay.” “Disupute” is obvious, but what about the phrase “refuse to pay?” What are the use of Prior? What are the possible negative?

I received a letter from my first company about 6 months. I dv'd, and she returned sufficient validation (for me). Then I sent them an offer to settle. They sent me a couple of offers to settle, which is significantly higher than my offer since then. The last offer was a “if you do not dispute in 30 days . bla bla” notice of them. Does this mean I can DV them again. there was no offers on the other settlement. I just thought it was funny. Thanks

I just ordered my reports for March and my scores have dropped! I sent letters to remove bad guys 3 offices in the beginning of Feb. Ok, so U.S. agencies responded to my DV. But the last bill they sent me was April 2001. Therefore, I am on the SOL. I have it from my reports except EX. What would you do if u were me? Oh, and yes . I tried 1-2 punch AND I already disputed with EX as invalid because it examines reporting false information but they think it's tag.
