Faster than I thought! We filed on 3/11 and our 341 hearing is on the 8th of April! I guess it's not THAT soon after filing but it seems like it.
I looked up our trustee and he's also a bankruptcy attorney. Is that the norm? If so that's something I didn't know and find it pretty interesting.
Anyhow it will be nice to finally have this behind us.

If you can get your BK removed from all reports, and even possibly remove all or most of the bad tradelines, then is it acceptable to claim that you haven't filed bankruptcy?
Yes, it's an overt lie, but what if there is no proof of it on your credit reports any more?

I was in New Jersey for the 4 years before moving to TX 10 months ago. Now I need to file for a BK. Will I Use the exemptions for NJ or TX???
I have searched all over the place and can't seem to find the answer. It does sound like I would use the NJ exemptions. Will a TX BK attorney know about this or do a need a specialist?

I'm 28 and will be filing for bk soon and will also be enrolling in college soon and am worried whether or not a bk will effect my ability to receive student loans?
