Car loan appearing twice on credit report? [late payments] [repo]
Hello – newbie here.
I have a car loan on my credit report. A few years ago I was with difficulty, and several late payments (30-60 days). The car was never repo'd but the account was closed due to refinancing, but are funded and closed the account and the account on all my credit cards reports.
My question – should this be so? If not, how do I fix it?
Reply:Find something inaccurate about it and dispute it.

What can I do to get the closed account off…?
Reply: It does have a zero balance, however, my thinking is that the late payments are affecting my score and if I can get the first account off my report my score will rise….

Reply:even if the balance is zero, if there are lates reporting things are not fine.

If it says BALANCE $0 (on one of them) it is fine

Does the closed account show a balance of zero?
If so, it's probably correct. Also – same lender or different?
