I have seen my EX report online and personal statement states that it is a fraud alert on my report for 90 days. I did not ask for the fraud report. Why do they have it there? Can I remove it?

I have a chargeoff with Chase, which was denied in June 2009. It came back as verified with no change in the TRADELINE. When I see my current TU report today (hard) states that the date is updated 2 / 2009. This has not been paid. Also updates the date, time and date paid is closed 2/2009.
Does all these seem to report correct?
