Ok, I have a question. I have been doing clean up now for over 7 months and I try not to post without completely looking through all threads relating to my questions. However, I am still confused on the notation in the status area on my credit report that states that "Discharged through Bankruptcy Chapter 7/Account charged off. Is this not a "double" negative. Is it legal for a OC to do this? If not, what is the approach to get this corrected? Thanks for any and all help.

I am an online application for an auto loan on Patelco site. However, there is a question of eligibility if I'm not a member. I do not think I would qualify on their eligibility. For example, live, work, or worship in a city that is appropriate (it looks like the cities and counties are only in Canada and I live in GA). The other issue is the eligibility if I'm a family of a patelco member.

DH and I are most certainly in the Chex system (i think that's what it's called) after we overdrafted 2 bank accounts (causing them to be closed, leaving a balance of $2500 on one and $1500 on the other). Will we be able to get another bank account?
