What does it mean when the collection calls slow down?

As I continue to work on my financial troubles and being at least 120 days past due on most of my credit cards, I have noticed in the past 2 weeks, I am not getting as many collection calls. I am really stressed-out over all of the collection letters that I have been receiving over the past 90 days, and I have only opened just a few of them in the past 90 days. I got one from Chase last week, and they said that if I did not pay at least $1,200 on one card, in the next 15 days, they would file a lawsuit against me and they would either send out a sherif or process server to sever me with the papers, along with letting me know that they plan to garnish my wages upon them winning the judgment. I owe on 2 Chase cards, with about 9K total.

Experian is showing a discharged bankruptcy from 2003 on their records as “filed”

The other 2 CRA show this discharged bankruptcy as “discharged” clearly in their status.

My question is this:

With Experian, does a discharged BK get shown as “filed”, or does this mean that they have it wrong and it needs to be corrected?

The BK was a Chapter 7, and is due to fall off in 2013.
The BK was filed in June of 2003, and discharged in Dec. 2003.

Credit score preventing us from renting an apartment!

Long story short, after renting in CT for 2 years, we bought our home here 8 months ago and were doing great. Husband’s company is now laying off and as of next month – no more job! I stay home with our young daughter who has a seizure disorder. Of course our home is probably not worth what we paid for it 8 months ago, not sure what is going to happen there.

Is their a list of what morgage lenders look for?

I am always woundering what is most inportant to see from big lenders, like for instance if i have 2 morgages should i try to eliminate all the credit cards i dont use, or should i just keep them open , i keep hearing closing an account might lower fico how inportant is fico?

buying raw land – where can i get a loan?

I have an LLC and would like to purchase raw land. It is 4 acres for approx $1.5m.

I went to a local bank and they require 50% LTV and this is for a A&D loan. I’d like to purchase the loan and also get a construction loan to build some town homes on it.

Any ideas on what type of leverage I can obtain? I’d like to only have to put 20% down at most.. thanks..

F&I, I need a new car –what are my chances?

Wanted your opinion/eval. In the event that my current auto is payed off in the next few months, what do you think my chances are for getting approval on a 15k -18k loan? Unfortunately, my current car is not very reliable & I’m getting tired of the stalls & breakdowns on my daily work commute & want to invest in a new Toyota Corolla for long-term.

GOT APPROVED FOR 2 CC’S 2 WEEKS POST CH. 7 DISCHARGE!

Wow, only 2 weeks post Ch. 7 discharge and got approved for a Best Buy Rewards Zone Card ($100) and a Capital One Platinum ($300)!!!

Okay, I know the Best Buy for $100 is a very small credit line, but hey it’s a start and it’s better than what I would’ve gotten approved before the bk. Actually I wouldn’t have gotten approved for anything! LOL!
